About the event
In this special class we will be showing you how to create layers of flavour in your pasta dishes using special ingredient black garlic.
What is black garlic?
Black garlic is, simply put, the product of aging regular garlic bulbs over the course of weeks or months in a strictly regulated temperature and humidity to achieve its black colour and sticky consistency. The process of making black garlic is less difficult than it is long. It can be aged for up to 60 days, which contibutes to the cost of this premium product.
We are using black garlic products from Garlicious Grown and if you are inspired by this unusual flavour, we will have products available for purchase on the day.
Also on the sauce we will use pepperberry. Pepperberry is a native bush food grown mainly in SE Australia. It can be used in sweet or savoury dishes.
So come along, bring some friends and enjoy a lovely pasta making classes with this unusual product.
